We stayed for two nights, and the kids absolutely loved the pool! The breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the fresh pastries. Room was comfy, but the AC was a bit noisy.

Liked this spotlessly clean and original place, welcoming staff and cool rooms. The breakfast was savoury, guests were offered cereals, fruit juice and toast. The location was fab, within walking distance of Big Waters.

Location is very convenient (close to airport, highways, Newcastle), but quiet. Room with wide bed and a minibar-fridge. Very good breakfast buffet with vending machines with various kinds of coffee.
Service and cleanliness during breakfast was not the best. The lobby area has just been renovated (which was urgently needed), but it didn't significantly improve the situation. Steam bath was very hot.

Very easy to reach hotel. Service is fabulous.
The dinner in the evening was unfortunately the complete opposite of the overall hotel service. Only frozen products, chips burnt, dishes with fish totally fatty and not fresh. I went to another restaurant; Beefeater (nearby) recommended.

Lovely location, friendly staff, very helpful and genuinely interested in ensuring customers are happy. As I stay in hotels often through my work, I am able to say quite honestly this was one of the best hotels I have used in the last 3 yrs, next time I come Ill bring my bathing suit lol and find more time to enjoy the facilities on offer.
Supplies of sugar and milk were poor in the room, yet coffee sachets were plentiful. I am aware we could have asked at reception but, it wouldve been nice to have more generous supply in room. After 4 hrs travelling, and no lift in the hotel I didnt feel like fetching any from reception, and I certainly would not have bothered room service for something as trivial.
